Student Vision is offering $500,000 over the next five years to subsidise the cost of students' eyewear and eyecare!
This is a nonprofit organization helping students helping themselves. Student Vision has a mandate to provide all students irrespective of age who are enrolled in a learning institute with a substantial subsidy on eyewear and eyecare. Gates Opticians is the exclusive service provider in the Waikato.

Sadly bureaucracy has invaded the optical industry with new safety standards for prescription safety glasses. However now Gates Opticians can provide better safety eyewear that is certified and compliant with the new regulations. This service is pitched at the individual and businesses with prices to reflect volumes.
